Here is my take on austing458 Golf ball pen.
The wood is Acacia. I am making a set of these to be 2nd prize at a benefit golf tournament

Thanks, it is wood that wasn't super figured from a Paula Dean Pie Board. Please don't tell Paula though. :)

I was just wondering.. do you hollow the golf balls out? Or are they very top heavy?
I have seen ornaments made of golf balls that were hollowed. just curious.

I have not hollowed them out. I don't think they are top heavy, but YMMV. I do however countersink the top of the tee so that the ball sits down a little and there is not a visible gap.

Pen man, I have some scrap pieces of walnut, I was thinking I would cover with indoor out door and make a desk pen :)
