My first fountain pen. The blank is Jeff Powell's Flaming Maple Burl--love the scrapwood cutoff/resin combos.

Tom, that is one very Spectacular Pen,
With the Blank and the Nouveau, it is hard to say which item is the lead and which is the support.

Thanks you guys for the feedback! I've begun working on a light backdrop, will experiment And thanks for the moral support! I'd like to grow a little business, and so many demands on my time can be challenging, as well as just not knowing what people think when they see my pens on facebook but don't comment. This is a great blank/kit that would be greatly enhanced using the HDR method, or maybe a different background....


From what I can see though, it has a great fit-n-finish. Was wondering how many layers of CA you used? It sure put a nice shine on it!
