Cigar ballpoint. Bubinga sanded down to 12,000 MM, applied 6 coats Minwax Gloss Polyurethane, wet sanded from 6,000 down to 12,000 MM and applied two coats of Brazilian Carnauba.

Not sure if I like this kit. A little top heavy and IMHO, fittings don't come across as that good of quality.
Maybe it would look better with a much darker blank like African Black Wood?
Will have to see what some of my customers think.

As always suggestion and comments welcome.

The pen's beautiful. But I would buy the chrome kit and change out the pen's nib. so all the major parts are all chrome. The finish of the blank has the right stuff !!!:D

Nope, I'm in the camp of liking this kit from a looks perspective - but I prefer swapping the clips. Beautiful execution on this pen.

Nice looking pen Les. You did an exceptional job on the Blank, the finish looks outstanding!:D I'm with the others though on the kit. I think the nib should be swapped to match the clip.

Several people have commented on the lack of plating quality for this kit and that's unfortunate. However, it's apparent your workmanship leaves nothing to be desired. That's a gorgeous pair of bubinga barrels. [8D]
