Pretty easy.

Stabilized endgrain black palm and stabilized endgrain zebrawood.

I don't know where David got his, but this ebayer from Australia carries them in chrome and gold.

While I've not bought these cufflinks from him, I've bought pen kits -- he's fast and reliable.

I got these kits from Ed and Dawn at Exoticblanks.com.

I don't think they are listed on their website yet, but they do have them in stock. Three pairs for around $3 if I remember correctly.

I'll have to check out the eBay kits as well... It looks like they are a little different style that would be easier to turn.

How'd you attach the cufflinks to the wood? CA? Here's my effort. I've actually set the cufflinks into the PR.
