First Pen!

This is the first pen I have made. The top is made of dried flowers from the funeral arrangement of my wife's grandmother. The bottom is East Indian Rosewood. I gave the pen to my mother-in-law as a keepsake. This was also the first time I had ever used poly resin to cast something.

Wow, the dried flower thing is a great idea!! We had a large candle (with a bulb instead of a wick of course) made with some of the flowers at my Mom's funeral, but I never thought about casting them! Very cool...
