So this is my first one piece slimline have done. I used a piece of Ash I have had for a while. The kit is a black fancy slimline. The nib got messed up a little a while back and figured I would use it for now to see if I could pull it off. Its a little fatter than I wanted it to be, but overall I am happy with it. I did dry sand from 150-600 grit. I then used Minwax Colonial Stain/Sealer and wiped the length of the wood twice. I followed that up with 3 coats thin CA and 3 coats med CA and MM all the way up. Finished with some turtle wax. At some point I am going to replace the nib. Thanks for looking! After posting the pictured I did align the clip more in the middle of the big open grain part.
