First modified center band

This is a Tycoon kit wrapped in Masur Birch,CA finish. First time that I have modified the center band on this kit. Let know what you think. I know the photos have a lot to be desired.........Remember I`m the one who is camera challenged.:biggrin:

Looking good Perry. Don't know how you could percieve yourself as the "one" camera challenged penturner. Many suffer from this ailment. Myself included. However, the pen looks great.

Beautiful pen Perry . The smaller CB looks much better , it don't break up the flow of the blank this way .

The narrower cb looks great, now the focus is on that beautiful piece of wood. Nice work on the finial as well.

Will and Jim I removed part (actaully all parts but one) on the center band, notice the one in the photo in this response and you will see the difference.

Steve, I agree with you about the white balance,just haven`t figured it out yet......I`m still using the auto setting.

Great looking pen Perry, the thinner CB does look a lot better.
