I got this blank from CSUSA on closeout. Its called an Environ pen blank. "Made of recycled newsprint and soybean by-products, Environ's unique pattern resembles natural stone." This stuff was not "easy" to turn as it was stated. It seemed pretty hard to turn once rounded, at least for me. It was cool to work on something very different. I do not see myself doing more of these however. I used the CSUSA Apprentice Jr Gent II kit in chrome. It's a nice alternative, but I can tell the thread quality isn't as good as the Jr Gent II kits I have done. I did my normal thin & med ca finish on this pen, followed by MM. This was also my first pen I did using 5 minute epoxy for the tubes. It worked out well for me. I let the tubes set for 15 minutes after I glued them and had no issues.
