Sometimes I feel like I am simply turning my way through the PSI catalog...:biggrin:

Anyway, never having made one before, I took an order for this at a craft fair early this month and this is what I came up with.

The woods in the body are maple, walnut and (I think) lyptus and the eyepiece end is bocote and the jewel container end is red heart.

One thing interesting, is recently I have found out how difficult it is to take a good, focused picture of an egg.

Those are very nice looking! I made 5 for my grandkids for Christmas. Tomorrow morning will be my measure of success----I think they will love them.

Mine are not nearly as intricate as yours. I share your sentiments about working through the PSI catalog.

Merry Christmas

I've been thinking about trying one of those eggs. Yours makes me think harder on getting one. Very nice! i really like the way you did the segments. was thinking about making a pen blank like that. again, Good Job!
