howdy all
first corian project
Thought id try some of the corian i received.
Out side of gluing my foot to the floor, no problem cutting, drilling and gluing with my regular tools and ca thin.

while i was playing thought id try to glue up a few pieces to get three different colors. I wanted to make three equal sides, but had a brain cramp. Couldnt get the angles right on the table saw.(until i was all done of course) So what i did was cut the white and red at 45, then took the end of the gray and stuck it in. The end results was just about an equal amount of red and white with the gray about half as thick. Doesn't look all that bad really. I may try to make all side different sizes next time.

Had a little problem getting the polish in two of the groves to get rid of the sanding and scraping lines. I almost think groves were too small/deep to get rag in to buff.

This makes my eight real turning project, not counting the 2x4's
I turn much better while watching the videos......[}:)]
