Chrissy and I both wanted to get our feet wet with some decoupage pens so we figured we'd do a couple of fun slimline kits for the kids. It was a fun process and we both learned some tricks for the next time.

Thanks to Hans for introducing us to this process at the last meeting :)

Both were done with tubes only and built up with modge podge and CA. No casting and no wood. I blew out 2 tubes in the process and had to start them over but I learned a very light touch with a carbide style scraper does the job very well.

Thanks for the feedback all, this was a fun process. It's a mix of stickers and printed images.

I found that you can get away with printing on an inkjet if you seal them with decal bonder and let dry before putting the decoupage on. It seems to retain color fine like this. I however forgot to do this to one of the images and you can see the fading, so consider it an experiment with a control group image :)
