fire striker

[Cloven]

Another coworker found my Wood-Write catalog and asked me to make a fire striker for him. The light wood is apple wood, segmented with walnut. His only request was that the handle be 'interesting', so I thought of putting a dark strip down the center of the block going both ways, book ended with the dark wood to create a complete look. I also created another one for the coworker who wanted the celtic pen, but it was just simple apple wood, nothing spectacularly interesting. These projects were my first time TBC.
