I'm in the process of making a Lotus pen with some Tru-Stone. It will be the first time I'll be working with it. From your collective experience what is the finest way of finishing this product : wet sanding, dry sanding ? ( all the way to 12000, naturally ) How does it turn : like acrylic or more like a hard wood ?

Hey Benoit! Sounds like you got the package from the group buy. Can't wait to see the pens! It depends on the type of TruStone; some is really hard, and turns like LV but dryer, while others can be softer, more like acrylic. I wet sand using the Micromesh for Corian and other synthetics, and I use some other polishes when I'm done.

I've turned several different trustones. Wet sanded through 12000MM then antiswirl followed by pure carnuba wax and TSW.
