Finishing corians

Can anyone give me advice or point me in the right direction for corian finishes?

For wood I am using friction polish and hut wax. Will this work for corian also?

What grit should I sand to?

I just micro mesh and finish off with novus, or any plastic type polish I have around.

No finish is needed. Sand to the highest grit you can. The finer the grit, the shinier the pen will be.

I just micro mesh and then either use tripoli and white diamond, and/or Huts Plastic Polish.

That's one of the nice things about solid surfaces is that it's so easy to finish.

I sand to 600, Micromesh the first two pads then buff with Tripoli, White diamond and Carnuba wax.

+1 for sanding to 600 grit, mm to 12000 than Novus 2

Finishing Corian

I just got my hands on some corian and just turned a Cigar pen and I sanded to 600 with regular sandpaper and went up to 12000 with the micro mesh and finished it with a buffing wheel and it came out awesome.
