I posted at the end of September the rough turning pics of this bowl. I finally got to finish it up. Its 8" in diameter and in the neighborhood of 4" - 5" deep. Had a purchase offer for it before I was even finished with it.

Ooooooh! VERY Pretty!!! I don't think I've ever seen a bowl turned out of Avacado...I'm really impressed! Beautiful grain and finish! BTW...how did it turn? Any difficulties or was turning it easy and fun? You should be VERY proud of you recent artistic accomplishment! Thanks for sharing and safe turning to you always!

Thank you. Actually the wood is a breeze to turn. Not a really soft wood, but turned nicely. It didn't wear me out or dull the tools really fast like some woods will do. The bark was nice and tight and I didn't lose not one piece. Quite a fun bowl to turn.
