Ok, I'm still new to this, but I've now made about 30 pens. I gave nearly all of them away to very grateful friends, family, and business associates. Then I thought " hey what about ME?" I'm headed to a big business meeting in Dallas next week, so it was time to whip up something nice for myself. Here it is, a Vertex kit with a buckeye burl blank in CA finish:
While I was at it, I finished up a pen for my best manager. She had been asking for something in chrome/red, so a red dyed curly maple blank with a chrome elegant Sierra fit the bill:
