Seems like it took me forever to finally get back to turning after the forest fire. Here's a couple from this weekend, done in between cutting down trees and rebuilding pasture fence. First is a Rhodium Havana ballpoint in the some resin I got from Woodpen Pro in Hawaii. It turns out to be more translucent than I thought, but I think it's OK. You can't really see the tubes, just some color.
Next one is a black Ti Jr. Statesman in alternative ivory. I really like this stuff, even has grain like the real stuff. I haven't decided yet if it will be a rollerball or fountain pen. I've going to visit my engraver tomorrow and see what he has that can be done to look like scrimshaw.
Hammer away.
