Finally, got some turning time in....

... I don't know about anybody else, but sometimes life just conspires against my getting back to the lathe.

I got some time over the last couple of days and decided to put together three Slimline pens. Two are out of some Maple that was in the 'camping firewood pile' and upon examination I thought it was too nice to burn. One is a Big Leaf Maple Burl that has a lot of very nice figure. Nothing special about the photography; just my IPhone. They are sitting in a shallow bowl I turned, pictures of which I have shared on this forum.

Next, on to bowl or two from some beautiful Walnut that my friend Charlie (Dieseldoc) gave me.
