Wanted to do some acrylic this morning and made a last minute decision to add the bottom decal. Worked out pretty well. 3 coats thin CA, 5 coats medium CA, MM both bare acrylic and CA down to 12,000.

Very nice. Did not know you could CA acrylic.

So far I've successfully dry-sanded the acrylics with regular sandpaper to make tool marks go away before MicroMesh and applied CA to fill in some small grooves. It can be done!

Dry rub-on decal. Came from the pine car supplies at Hobby Lobby. Took searching the whole store.

they just opened a hobby lobby in my part of town, i love that place. great work on the pen

Sadly, they were literally the only decent ones they had, and they were triple the price of all the rest, which came in greater number on larger sheets. Still worth it.

I am glad you did add the bottom decal, Allen. It really makes the pen. That is some good work. Your fit and finish is outstanding. Keep up the good work.
My wife loves Hobby Lobby. She says she can go there, walk around looking at all the pretties to get her fill and never have to once dust anything.

Don't remind me. PLEASE. I just wish there were more manly things there. It's hard to find ANYTHING there I actually want, outside of FIMO and leather scraps.
