Not sure if this is the right forum but I hope it is. I had a request for an acrylic pen in solid black with an engraved name on the side. I am putting it on a cigar body. What my plan is is to turn it down to size then have the engraving done before finishing. What I need to know is what to fill the engraving in with. My thoughts are either tinted epoxy, paint with ca, or something that I am not even aware of yet. I do not have the setup to pour my own PR so that is not an option. Any ideas or confirmation of my ideas is welcome.
Thanks

I use acrylic paint. If you can find it in gel form, it will work even better. Completely turn and finish the pen before having it engraved. After engraving, wipe on the paint and then wipe off the excess immediately.
