My 8 yr old grandaughter Alyx wanted a pink pen since her sister cracked her other one. I told her that I would help her make one. Turned out real nice. Then she says "come on grandpa, you know you like pink" Well I gotta tell you since its for her, I love pink. Got the blank from woodnwimseys kit from BTW. all comments welcome.

One of the best gifts I've ever had. My daughter told my wife of her intentions and left me out of the loop. They would be playing me discussing names for the baby. So imagine my pride when they rolled her into the viewing ward and I saw her name for the first time.

The kit choice is perfect. Alyx did a great job on her pen.

You time with her is priceless. Your namesake is priceless.

And...I bet Grandpa LOVES pink too.

Great work Alyx!!
You made a beautiful pen.
