Ok, this is my first posting with pictures of my pens. I appreciate any feedback to help me improve my pen making or photography. My 12 year old son and I turned these pens over the weekend.

Here are the descriptions (left to right):

1. Halloween acrylic (our first acrylic pen).
2. Bethlehem Olive Wood.
3. Mesquite (first CA finish, one coat).
4. Mesquite (second CA finish, two coats).
5. Zebrawood (PPP only).

Not sure if the picture uploaded, here goes...

A great way to spend time with son...

I likeit that you created some shape in the body with curved looks rather than going bushing to bushing...nicely done.

I have turned zebra wood before , it took a carful touch with the tool to avoid splittering I found..

Great start! Shapes all look good. Hardware/material combinations look good. CA finish is coming along. You may want to apply more coats to ensure complete coverage and add even more depth. Now for the PPP - stick a wick in it and burn it [:D]
