Other than ebay, I'm looking for a source for one or two EXTREME curly maple pen blanks, vendor or member, purchase or trade.

thanks!

Well, I have some very densely..

curled Maple. In fact I have about 12 bf of it. I am not sure about your definition of the word extreme though.

I could cut off 6-7" of a boardd and sent to you. And you could make your own blanks. The boards are 3/4 x 8" x 72"

If you are interested let me know and we can go from there.

I have this request worked out already, but if there are any other source recommendations, I'll keep them save for future use!!

Makes it easier for suppliers if you define what you want in terms of number of curls/inch

I hadn't thought about it this way -- but I'd guess somewhere between 1/16" to 1/4" striping - the tighter/denser the better on a small scale like a pen.

Depending on how you define curl...

You can define a full curl .. both the forward and back wave part as being one complete curl

Or you can define each part as a curl

The first way.. you could have 4 curls to inch and
The second you would have 8 curls to the inch of the same piece.
