I dropped $2 on a small bottle or CA for an experiment.

Into that bottle I added 3 drops of Alumalite dye..

They sunk to the bottom and didn't mix.. Not one bit.. After a few hours the CA had started to turn purple so I left it over night.

By morning I had the results I expected.. Half the bottle was set up like a rock..

:smile-big:

Now you all know one way Not to dye CA..

Why would I do this? I just like trying to find something new.

I think 10P2 (or what ever that blue labeled CA company is...) sells a kit that includes colors that can be mixed, I think it is a mix and use tho, not mix and store until you feel like using it...

I would think a "dry" dye would work for CA. Anything with water will initiate the polymerization reaction to set up the CA. Good luck, and keep on experimenting!
