Euro pencil adapted from Euro pen

Hi all,

I am planning a deskset for a lady friend of mine, and I would like to give her a Euro styled set.

The platings I am looking at are Platinum or Chrome, this is to go with some of the Water pipe blanks I have.

I have seen from the various vendors that they have either Chrome or Platinum Euro/Designer pens, and I have seen that there exists no pencil in those platings.
I do know of the Black Titanium and satin nickel sets from PSI.

So my question is as followed,
Has anyone created a pencil using the nib and rest of the parts from the pen version?

If you get the 8mm euro kits that use the parker style refills, you can sub a schmidt pencil mechanism into one. I don't know of a similar trick for the 7mm cross style though.
