ER32 Collets From 800Watt

Just ordered the Beall Collet Chuck from CS and a set of collets from 800Watt. The collets where here in 7 days. I have heard slow shipping on these but for this order it was very quick and easy. Items were shipped from Calif to FL.

Ditto on my order that arrived last week. A real surprise considering how slow other folks said it would take.

About the same time I ordered the Beall Collect Chuck which has yet to arrive. No, not from CS, I needed to get a nice MT #2 plastic cleaner.

I ordered a set about a year ago and they showed up in about a week. I bet the guy does not keep a big inventory and the slow shipping is a result of collets being on back order. Maybe the guy is doing a better job of inventory control now and has eliminated or at least controlled his "out of stock" problem??

Now, if he would only change his policy about answering emails, (he doesn't), the guy might turn out to be a pretty good vendor. He already has a good product and the prices are right.

Here is a thread from "The Practical Machinist" forum about 800watt, makes for some interesting, if repetitious reading. Seems he might be getting his act together about shipping at least.
