Embossing tutorial needed

Let me rephrase my original question, after searching the internet with every title I can think of, I was wondering if any one can point me to a tutorial on how to make a foil blank like the one on the right. I understand that the left one is the same but with a decal.

• The material used is self adhesive foil like HVAC tape or Slug tape
• the "rivets" are made with the embossing tool or a dull punch
• The emblem is made with a water decal.
• How do I create the pattern????
