I ordered some Elegant American kits and then read that the CB has a very sharp edge. When I got the kits I was appalled at how deep that black recess is and how sharp the edges are. So I fixed it. I used the same epoxy I use to coat thread wraps on fly rods. When I order some more, I'm going to try Sally Hansen Hard as Nails nail polish. I've used it on saltwater flies and it dries really hard and is very durable.
