Editing Reminder

Folks,

Based on some things I'm observing in the Marketplace, I think a reminder is in order relating to editing your posts. I've quoted below the part of the Acceptable Use Policy relating to this. That policy has been in place for years. I've added some emphasis here.

Edit Time Limits:

Generally, posts and thread titles can be edited by the author for up to 60 minutes from the original time of posting. Certain forums, such as The Marketplace and Group Buys have longer edit windows. Editing is permitted to:

• Correct spelling, grammar, or punctuation
• Update quantities or manage lists for group buys, swaps, and similar approved activities

If you want to clarify your original posting or add additional content, or you feel the need to retract statements you made in the original post, make a followup post.

Deletion of any portion of your original post content, including text, images, or links, is not permitted. Abuse of editing privileges is grounds for termination of membership.
