I've done a little searching and found one post asking about Easy Cast from Michaels. Mentioned was the expense and the fact it doesn't polish up as nice as Silmar 41.

Is the recommendation pretty much Silmar 41 these days?

Also I've been reading on this site about not using pressure pots, rather an ultrasound cleaner from harbor freight.

I did a couple of casts using Easy Cast and got a few bubbles left. We didn't use a pressure pot or anything.

As I move ahead there's no use messing with Easy Cast if Silmar 41 is better. Once that decision is made I can work on technique.

Thanks for your help. This site is a great help.

Same here. If you are only going to do one or two casts a year then I could see using the CastNCraft but for more I would go with Silmar41!

I did a few casts with CastNCraft when I was learning to cast blanks.
I now use Silmar41 on everything. The cost is much less for a gallon.
