I use the leftover ends of blanks to make cuff links. Today at work I saw a coworker's earrings that made me think I could make earring inserts also. Does anyone know of a place to buy earring studs?

Word of experience based caution: many customers will only use/buy earrings with solid silver or stainless (or GOLD
) studs. The plated variety get the "reject button". Solid sterling silver is widely acceptable, and not to over the top expensive.

will cause the leaching when used next to skin. So SOME plated rings, bracelets, earings will turn the skin colors.
Rather than risk having oddly colored skin, women will just avoid plated objects they would wear.
