Well, here is another pen of mine. This is a box elder burl that was actually dyed blue. Once I got it turned down it turned more of a green. The finish is the three step Mylands.

I'm working on improving my photography. I just need a stand and better lighting.

That is the full size plat. gents pen. These things are large. You have to be accurate when drill a 3/4" blank for one of these. That 37/64" bit is large.

You're right about that. I would have taken these photos outside, but the wind was blowing about 30 mph all weekend. When the weather is nicer I plan on using the sun for a light source.
