I finally bit the bullet and bought a quality set of DROs for my X2 mini-mill. After reading everything I could, I installed the Z (vertical) axis first and then the display head, as I think it is the easiest on the X2. AND it works!! YOOHHOOO!
Now to install the X axis and Y axis. These are a bit touchy as the space is tight. It is time for the annual tear-down, adjust, and lube anyway.
