I tried something a little different with some help from Ken Nelsen. The inlay was finished with two separate cutting passes.
First, I rough turned the Jarrah Burl blank and cut a few grooves and filled with chrysacolla. Then I sent this off to Ken who laser cut the leaf pattern. I then filled in the leafs with black crushed stone and finished.
Oh,and in case you're wondering, yes -- the first cut is the deepest.
