if that's the copperhead it looks beautiful, nice contrast and very well done. i ahve to beg someone for a balnk of that and learn how to turn it. Youdon't really turn it right?

Yes it is turned. It is a real copperhead snake skin. I skinned the snake and tanned the skin.

Two GREAT looking pens!!

Maybe if you use a different color background??? Seems you have plenty of light (shadows), but the skin still looks dark. The one laying down shows the color much better.

Just a thought--great pen!! Keep casting!

Ed I really like those kits. I am going to order some more of them. I got a diamond back water snake about 4 ft long all tanned and ready to make pens out of.

I've made a few and so far I like them, too.

The price is right for selling the finished pens and making a profit. Also, you can get TWO pens out of each of Dawn's resin blanks--again keeps your cost down to make selling them more profitable!!
