Good morning everyone, curious if you ever had an inquiry of making a bespoke eye dropper pen to do calligraphy. It is Jowo#6 nib no biggy there yet use to converter or cartridges being used. I saw a few thing s store bought and use of O-Ring and food grade grease, although O-Ring was mentioned not manadated and curious of any and all information the group of suggestions.

I have not made one specifically to be eyedropper yet, but what I hear (listen to the As the Pen Turns podcast) is that some add an o-ring while others do not. The guidance is to use silicone grease on the section threads and nib housing threads to make a good seal and then fill with water to see if it is water tight before using ink.

I made eyedroppers with O ring, maybe more for the peace of mind than for the ink, because I made others without O ring and no linkage issue: I think tight threads and silicone grease are the way to go.
