I'd give thirty for that crotch piece up on top... There are always cracks and splits in that stuff, so it's to be expected. I'd expect it to be dry already, so I'm not sure sealing the ends will help... not sure, but I don't think it's called desert ironwood until it's already dry.

Actually, it can still be growing and be called desert ironwood.
