What size PVC is that? Obviously when casting we're more worried about the ID than the OD of the pipe...and I'm not sure which diameter pipe to buy without taking a ruler/calipers into the store

Schedule 40 3/4" PVC pipe makes a very nice blank a little over .75"

One more question, because I feel like I'm thread-jacking: Where do you get your resin/catalyst?

Well, I've watched the video 2,3, and even 4 times and I like it better everytime I see it. You did a great job on the presentation and I learned alot from it. One question, if you built a mold out of a plastic cutting board, would you get any better results from it? I'm working on making me a mold.

Molds made out of cutting boards are very acceptable. I like the PVC pipe because the blank comes out round. The PVC is easy for make in quantity if I want to make many blanks. I didn't show the pressure pot but I can fit 16 blanks in my homemade holder.
I think I figure up the price on using the PVC to be less than one cent each if I use the pipe more than 5 times.
