Okay so I was working on a pen and had half the blank go squirrelly on me (got it too thin). But I want to finish the pen. The original blank was a Red Fleck Celluloid from WPP, what should I put with it as the cap. I have pure black, pure white, and a lava flow which is about the same color, but isn't flecked. Or I have a flecked stain glass blank.

This is an experimental pen (for me at least) so it doesn't have to be stellar, but I'd like it to look nice.

Mike,
I would use the black. White might clash too much, and the lava might take away from the flake. Try the black, I think it would look best.

Mike,
Thats funny you say that. I just got a ad/mag whatever you want to call it from the Fountain Pen Hospital and they show a pen by Delta-Dolcevita Zen which uses the same orange flek celluloid that I used only with a totally black cap and black nib section. I'm not saying you have to do this and should do that, but if you want to see what it looks like check it out.
