"Defective" Snakewood Sierra

A few weeks ago Chitswood had a pile of "defective" Snakewood listed on eBay. JimGo and I both bid on it, but I won. I did send him some in trade for some other stuff. The eBay listing said the wood had cracks, was to short, not a lot of figure and no pen blanks. There were actually quite a few peices that were just fine for pen blanks. I finished this one last night, Sierra in Platinum/Black Ti from Ernie. I sanded to 1500, applied a coat of TSW and buffed it. No other finish. So far, no cracks.

Looks very nice, nice subtle curve. Dang it though, those new Sierras are growing on me (not literally).
