this is a larg slimline but i used a european roller clip. this pen is finished with CA.

It looks like a nice finish on this pen. I also like the amount of bark that you were able to leave on. What type of kit did you use? Or should I say where did you find this kit. I have so far just used PSI and the slimlines that they have are much thinner and have the metal band in the center. What I really like about this pen and the kit that you chose is is with less hardware, the antler stands out and the width of the antler is uniform for the full length of the pen.

i USED a slim line kit. I got away from the center band by leaving a "tenon" on the cap. I did this by using a pen mill to leave it. I made the cap blank about a 1/4 proud of the tube. that left a nice tenon for the barrel to slide up into the cap. its basically a european pen but I just used a few spare I had left over. The clip is actually a european roller. I just used calipers to get the fit rather than a bushing.
