Hi Jim. I'm Roger, a relative newbie to the site.

First, my adult son, who is also a turner, just showed me some of your Jack blanks. Wow, opening the bag brought back some old memories of hard drinking in college !! I was surprised at how incredibly strong the odor was. Pretty cool.

Beautiful work on all three. Also, I got a chuckle about you taking a "mental health day". I call them the same, and have been thinking the last few weeks that I definately need to take one. I have been living for the weekends (time I can do serious turning) entirely too much for the last month or two.

Cheers.

I'm am, or I should say that I was going to take a "mental health" day on Thursday and Friday.
However, SWMBO said that we are going to have a garage sale on Thurs, Fri, and Sat.
grumble grumble grumble :crying::crying::crying:

That being said, those are some NICE pens! I like the antler a lot!

Well done! I like that you didn't fight the natural coloration of the antler. too many shoot for a unifomr color and miss the beauty of the material all together.
