Daughter's snowman

So my wife worked with my daughter tonight and instructed her on how to turn a snowman on the lathe. My daughter did pretty good. She then brought it in and used craft paint and painted him all up. She used a small piece of oak railing we had out there.

Isn't it awesome when our kids take an interest in the stuff we do?

I haven't tried one yet, but I doubt my first will be that good.

I love to see the youngins get into it! My three grandchildren bug me regularly to turn pens.
