Hello folks

here are two new boxes

first up is a piece of Damson fruit wood that came from a tree in a friends garden, the tree was dying as it had rot up all the centre but I managed to cut some 3x3 spindle blanks from around the rot.

this little box was roughed out in 2005 and was just sold as eucalyptus burr (fully waxed of course as it was very wet) I used a piece of lignum vitae as a collar

Your work is always first rate. For some reason, that little lego man with the saw and the wood makes me laugh.

Gee...Derek....how can you insult George like that????

That isn't a lego toy....it's a perfect sculpture in miniature of the man himself !!

Jeesh, no wonder your still running slime line contests instead of proper pens....:biggrin:

Nice work as always George:biggrin:
