It could be styrene. It's shim stock I got from work. When we need to shim equipment, we have to get a whole new set of shims to get the correct size. ( They are all packaged together ) So if we need a new size that we don't have anymore of, we get a whole new set of shims. The only bad thing is, they come in different thicknesses, so I'm limited on what I can use from the set.
