cutting boards/bread slicer

Can spalted pecan be used for cutting boards as long as the wood is dry.i have seen bread slicers before at craft shows i was wondering is it bandsaw blands that were used and just cut for size the blades were very black.

I am not sure about the Spalted Pecan but as far as the blades I purchased mine from CSUSA as they are only 30 miles from me. You might check out our vendors for them, I bought mine 3 years ago and do not recall who has them.
