Era 50 Cal toothpick holder that could stand up on a desk.
This is what I came up with.
A 50 cal casing manufactured in 1945 at Twin Cities Ordinance Plant Minneapolis, MN along with a 1945 era once fired 50 cal M2 projectile.

I wish that I could find shells as old as that!!!

The oldest I have ever seen was 1953. But most are from the 2000's. Is there someone out there that has a source for older brass or is it just luck?

I have a source for 50 cal brass dating from 1942 through 1954 as well as once fired M3 projectiles fired during the same time period.
