Maybe a nice locked box might help? They can make it a small lock, keep the key in the cash register. You can put a note to 'ask for the key at the counter". Or is that too much trouble for them? I know some consignments shops don't allow locked cases. If thats the case, maybe they'll consider an enclosed box at the counter instead? OR just put big metal clip thingies on them with a big sign that says "Please have cashier remove security alarm code" LOL

I'm afraid I gave the wrong impression, Nobody at the senior center would steal. At least I trust them.

The director comes and we split the money and I feel sad because my pens are gone.[]
