For those of us at a loss of words when critiquing a pen, or having a hard time expressing our true inner feelings. I have developed my easy to use hand dandy "Critique Guide"
[:0] - Oh ! I peed my pants, it is so beautifull
- Excellent craftsmenship, fit, finish is SUPERB ! Well Done
[] - Excuse my drooling over this fantastic pen you made.
- Wonderfull pen, design & fit is great, I really like it.
[8D] - Great pen, your finish is superb, it's blinding me.
[:I] - Very nice pen, good job.
[8)] - I looked at your pen, but was in a hurry to comment.
[^] - Hhhhhhmmmmmm, I am still deciding
[|)] - Can't really tell, your photography is lacking some skills.
[?] - Not sure of the design of your pen.
[V] - I like the pen, sorry you caught a gouge or assembly problems.
[)] - Not bad, but don't really like the shape.
- I am sorry, but the pen is unatractive, to many whoopty dooooos
[xx(] - Hate to say it, but that is one ugly pen !
[}] - I really like your pen, but not YOU. So I have nothing good to say.
[B)] - I feel like starting something today, so take this & your pen & *&^%
[8] - Show me some proof you made this pen, where are your pics.
- Just kidding, I had to say something mean & clever.
I will appogize in advance if I hurt anybody's feelings with my sarcastic view on this subject. After all in the big scheme of things, we are all turning addicts who love to pass the time of day or night turning, doing what we love to do. Plus having a place to take our problems or questions, gloat about our new tools & toys, and show off to our pears what we did today! From one of just a few places on the net with folks just like us.
So many thanks again Jeff, for letting us have a place to go to, to escape from the nightmares of the real world and enter the Utopia of The pen turning world.
