A couple of weeks ago I heard from a customer who thought she wanted a Snakewood sketch pencil, then it was maybe a snakeskin fountain pen. She finally settled on a Jr. Gentleman rollerball out of maple with some rings out of a darker wood. Here's the result, Gold Ti, rings out Bois de Rose, CA finish. It's an anniversary present for her husband.

And I won the benefit auction for the Aussie woods that Ausdan ran and finally made a pen from one of the woods. This is Ringed Myall on a Rhodium Jr. Gentleman rollerball and a CA finish. Very nice wood.

Gerry,
they're both great 'lookers' but I'm partial to the Australian myall. Those Aussie timbers have great 'figure', don't they[?] Hope to see more of your Aussie collection.
